Clara Kaeding

Clara Kaeding, 86 of Devils Lake, formerly of Penn, ND passed away on Sunday, May 1, 2011 at the Heartland Care Center, Devils Lake. A Memorial Service will be held at the Gilbertson Funeral Home, Devils Lake on Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at 4:00 p.m. Rev. Rafe Allison will officiate and burial will be in the Devils Lake Cemetery. Clara was born on December 31, 1924 in Ramsey County, North Dakota to Hans and Ronnog (Frantsen) Moen. She was baptized and confirmed at the Norway Lutheran Church, rural Devils Lake. In 1949 Clara was united in marriage to Clarence Kaeding at St. Olaf Lutheran Church. They began farming in the Penn area until 1983 when they retired and moved to Devils Lake. Clara is survived by her husband, Clarence and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother Alf Moen; sister and brother-in-law Margaret E. and Oscar E. Johnson.
