Wesley "Gussy" Scott Bigtrack Jr.

Wesley S. BigTrack Jr., 15 of St. Michael, ND passed away at his home on Saturday, May 28, 2011. The Wake for Wesley will be held at St. Michael’s Recreation Center, St. Michael, ND on Sunday, June 5, 2011 beginning at 5:00 p.m. with a Rosary and Prayer Service at 8:00 p.m. The procession to St. Michael will leave at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday from Francis Owlboy’s residence on Highway 20 accompanied by horseback riders and runners who all wish to participate to honor our son “Gus”. Mass of Christian Burial for Wesley will be held on Monday, June 6, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Michael’s Catholic Church. Fr. Brian Moen will celebrate the Mass and Wesley will be laid to rest in St. Michael’s Catholic Cemetery. Serving as Casket Bearers for Wesley will be Anthony Ironhawk, Mark Littleghost Jr., Dana Jackson, Patrick Little, Michael Denne, Anthony San Miguel, Angel Najar, Tyler Ross, Trista Dauphinais and Bailee Charboneau. Honorary Bearers for Wesley will be Keyana Feather, Colton and Shaquille Littleghost, Bailee Langstaff, Amber Lovejoy, Kyle Belgarde, Megan Joramo, Virginia Owlboy, Jordan LaRock, Jason LaRock Jr., Jaylen LaRock, Dustin Lovejoy, CJ Owlboy, Darrett Mudgett Jr., Clarence Morin, Warwick High School Basketball Team, Classmates, Staff and Faculty and all the people who came and prayed with us at our home this past week. Wesley Jr. “Gussy” the loving son of Wesley Sr. and Geneva (Feather) Bigtrack. He was born on December 22, 1995 in Devils Lake, North Dakota. He attended school at Warwick Public School and just graduated from the 8th grade on May 21, 2011. He enjoyed spending time with his family, friends and relatives. He started singing at a very young age alongside his father with various drum groups on the Spirit Lake Reservation. His favorite times were playing outdoor activities like basketball, horse shoes, fishing, hunting and playing softball in front of Fr. Moen’s house that we called the sandlot. He spent a lot of time with his uncles Robert Jr., Alan, Joseph and Michael Little, BJ Demarce and Byron Littleghost playing his Xbox 360 for many hours in his room with them and his friends. He liked listening to his favorite singer Nakoa Heavy Runner and chatting with many friends on Facebook. The family would just like to say that we all will miss and love our “Gussy” who not only touched our lives but also his many fiends for the short while that he was here but his memory will live on forever in our hearts as always.
