She helped on the family farm and cooked for many of the local threshing crews that worked in the Warwick area. Leonore was united in marriage to E. Bernhard Eversvik on July 2, 1946 at St. James Catholic Church in Warwick. In 1952, they moved to a farm in Eddy County where they lived, raised livestock and small grains and made this the home where they raised their family through the years. They owned and operated Eversvik Café and Service Station in Warwick from 1965 until 1978. Leonore worked as a janitor at the Warwick School for a time and also worked at Kay’s Greenhouse for several years, especially during the busy time in the spring. She was always a cheerful person and memories of her include her singing in the kitchen as she cooked, baked bread and did her housecleaning.
