June Patricia, daughter of James and Jean (Martin) Crockett was born on August 3, 1933 in the state of New York. As a very young child, June moved with the family to Scotland where she was reared and educated. After completing her education she worked for a time in Scotland until she was united in marriage to Philip B. Aus on April 21, 1956. They lived in Scotland until 1958 when they moved to Minnesota. In the early 1960’s they moved to Devils Lake where June’s first priority was always her family. She worked for many years at Lake Region Clinic and the Artclare Motel. Most recently, June worked at Kmart until she retired in 2005. June was a devout member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and and Altar Society and had a deep devotion to St. Jude throughout her life. She especially enjoyed listening to Bagpipe Music and playing Bingo whenever she got the chance. Winter evenings were spent cheering for the Minnesota Gopher’s Hockey Team. Faith and family were the most important aspects of June’s life. We now entrust June to God’s care and we will cherish and love you forever. June is survived by her loving children. Her daughter Kristi L. Aus and son Scott M.
