KALE ARMANI GREYWATER

Kale Armani Greywater, “Wicahpi Hoksina” (Star Boy) 1 year old son of Keith Greywater and Fallon Cavanaugh of Fort Totten, ND was called home by God on Friday, May 11, 2012 surrounded by his loving family. He passed away at Mercy Hospital, Devils Lake. A Wake for Kale will be held at the Fort Totten Recreation Center on Wednesday, May 16, 2012 beginning at 5:00 p.m. with a Rosary and Prayer Service at 8:00 p.m. The procession to the Recreation Center will leave at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday (today) from Wal-Mart. Mass of Christian Burial for Kale will be held on Thursday, May 17, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, St. Michael, ND with Fr. Brian Moen celebrating the Mass. Kale will be laid to rest in St. Michael’s Catholic Cemetery. Serving as Casket Bearers for Kale will be Elton Greywater, Robin McKay, Jon Lawrence and RJ Cavanaugh. Kale Armani Greywater was born 9 weeks early to Fallon Cavanaugh and Keith Greywater Sr. in Fargo, ND on April 23, 2011. One week later he was diagnosed with Necrotizing Enterocolitis (NEC). He went through 3 surgeries to repair his bowel. Throughout his 93 day stay, he slowly recovered from this and was brought home on July 26, 2011. Although being young, Kale became a very social baby due to his father’s job. Everybody that saw Kale, always saw a smile on his face, along with his bright beautiful eyes! Kale, along with his cousin Sophia Lawrence were known as the “Rec Babies”. Everybody that came to the Wellness Center saw Kale watching the kids play or the guys playing basketball. Although Kale was 1 year old, he could understand many things. Kale was loved by all his family and friends. He touched many people and will be missed by all. Kale was a true Momma’s Boy! A very special thank you to the Staff at the Children’s NICU, physicians Dr. Monson, Dr. Bellas, Dr. Mohammed, Dr. Smith and Dr. Nelson and all the Nursing Staff of Sanford Health in Fargo and the Staff of Mercy Hospital for your loving care of our precious Kale. Kale is survived by his loving family.
