Marie Eleanor Jackson began her earthly journey on June 12, 1945 at Fort Totten, ND to Louis & Katherine (Black) Jackson. Marie was raised and educated in St. Michael, ND. Marie lived her life in St. Michael & Devils Lake, ND.
Throughout Marie’s life she befriended many people with her love to visit. No matter where Marie lived she had her daily routine of walking around and visiting, and if she wasn’t walking she’d be on the phone. She always had a story to tell & laughs to be shared. Marie’s favorite places to stop and spend a few nights were with her best friends Debbie Adams & Oreila Chaske. They all enjoyed each other’s company very much. Marie’s favorite hobbies were playing cards and collecting cans.
Marie was cared for by her nephew Carl for a period of time before she fell ill. Marie was then placed in the Odd Fellows Nursing home in Devils Lake, ND and then transferred to Sheyenne Valley Care Center, Valley City, ND where she lived until the time of her death. Our Sister, Auntie, Grandma, Cousin & Friend, you will be greatly missed and in our hearts forever. We love you “Bishkoo” “Schkooby”.
