Linda Carol Fox “Mato Isnana Win” (Lone Bear Woman) Our loving Mother, Sister, and Aunt left to be with the Lord on Friday, December 14, 2012. Linda passed away at Altru Hospital, Grand Forks, ND at the age of 51. Wake services will begin on Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at 5 p.m. at the Fort Totten Recreation Center. The procession to Fort Totten will leave at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday from Wal-Mart. Funeral services will be held at the Fort Totten Recreation Center on Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at 11:00 a.m., Pastor June Lockwood officiating. Burial will be at St. Thomas Episcopal Cemetery, rural Fort Totten. Linda was born July 11, 1961 to Laidman Sr. and Winona (Alberts) Fox. She attended elementary school in Fort Totten and graduated in 1979 from Fort Totten High School. She later attended South West Poly-Tech Institute, Albuquerque, NM, and Central Bible College in Mobridge, SD. Linda also attended United Tribes Technical College, Bismarck, ND and later was employed there UTTC) for many years. Linda enjoyed being with her children and grandchildren. She loved the Lord and enjoyed going to church and always encouraged her children to attend and be involved in the church. Linda would host youth Bible studies in her home, and traveled to many Church Revivals throughout Indian Country, where her children ministered through human videos. She liked listening to George Straight, going to pow-wows, and rummaging. Linda is survived by her children & grandchildren: Joe (Sam) Fox (Waniya, Spear, Joe Jr), Holly (Daniel) Fox (Daniel Jr.), John (Erin) Strait (Nevaeh, Justin, Victoria, Jasmiria, Karley), Molly (Mike) Strait (Malachi, Max), Michelle Cooley, Michael (Barbara) Cooley, Micah Cooley, and Isaiah Stricker.
