Archie A. Redfox, “Cunk?i” (Son) 35 of Tokio, ND passed away from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident, rural Warwick, ND early Sunday morning, December 30, 2012. The Wake for Archie will be held on Sunday, January 6, 2013 at the Woodlake Recreation Center, Tokio, ND beginning at 4:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 8:00 p.m. The procession to Tokio, will leave on Sunday at 3:00 p.m. from Wal-Mart. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, January 7th at 2:00 p.m. at the Bdecan Presbyterian Church, rural Tokio with Rev. Enright BigHorn, Pastor Kevin Kaufmann and Rev. Tony AmericanHorse Jr. officiating. Music will be provided by Tony AmericanHorse Jr., Ivan and Ione Elk and Drum Groups are welcome to share their songs in memory of Archie. First Pallbearers will be Steven Redfox, Vernon Woodhull, Hunter Lufkins, Robert Redfox, Mokes Ironroad-Redfox and Mike Gourd. Second Pallbearers will be Joel Redfox, David Redfox, Archie Redfox III, Luke Georgeson, Jarvis Jackson and Adrian Jackson. Honorary Bearers will be Karen Jackson, Trudy Iceman, Darcie Delorme, Natalie Merrick, Connie Charboneau, Sally Paul, Clarissa Jackson, Amanda Jackson, Collette Jackson, Glynnis Jackson, Derrick Jackson, Yvonne Georgeson, Stephanie Paul, Tyler Redfox, Wade Longie, Dee Lufkins, C.J. Ironheart, Troy Redfox, Michele Christofferson, Duane Tikanye, Gene Paul, Maynard “Jumbo” Tikanye, Delphine Tikanye, Monte Redfox, Julius Rainbow Jr., Amy Redfox, Amy Redfox, George “Spunky” Langstaff, Ira Woodhull, Louie Garcia, Jay LittleWind, Beverly Tikanye, Glen Poitra, Jolene Littlewind, the Langley Family and the Larry Thiele Family. Archie Adam, son of Michael Youngman and Elizabeth Redfox was born on June 10, 1977 at Devils Lake, ND. He grew up in the Warwick/Tokio area and attended Warwick Public School. He then attended the Quentin Burdick Job Corps Center in Minot, ND. He was united in marriage to Nina L. LaFrombois on April 17, 2003 and years later they were divorced. Archie loved the construction business and worked with several companies to create, remodel and maintain homes and businesses in the area. Archie worked for Spirit Lake Housing, Shinglebee Construction, Spirit Lake Tribal Housing-Home Improvement Projects and with the Army National Guard on many housing projects on the Spirit Lake Nation. He worked with several contractors in the area and also worked on numerous roofing jobs. For several years, he also worked at Sioux Manufacturing Corporation in Fort Totten. Archie was an outdoor enthusiast and loved running, hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed playing pool and basketball with family and friends. Archie leaves behind his beloved family. His children, Charice Hunt, Ava Lynn Redfox, Zaeona Redfox and Jonathan Redfox; his mother, Elizabeth Kay Redfox; siblings, Alton Mitzel, Aaron Mitzel, Ashley Redfox, Adrian Jackson, Megan Jackson, Jarvis Jackson, Alyssa Jackson and RaNell Cavanaugh; adopted sister, June Littlewind; special uncle and aunt, Louie and Hilda Garcia; godmother, Alberta Redfox; many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; Archie joins his beloved family members who have gone before him; grandparents, Archie and Gertrude (Crow) Redfox Sr.; daughter, Emily Frances Redfox; uncles, Francis Tikanye, Archie Redfox Jr., Robert Redfox and Leroy Redfox; aunts, Annie Redfox, Etta Redfox, Karen Redfox-Paul, Joan Redfox and Miriam Redfox; cousins, Mark Lufkins, Marion Redfox, Emery Tikanye, Jonathan Tikanye, Tommy Tikanye, Bernadine Tikanye, Jeremy Redfox, Klo Redfox, Melissa Redfox and Gilbert Archie Chaske and many nieces and nephews.
