JAYME JADE OLSON

Jayme J. Olson, 31 of Devils Lake, ND passed away on Wednesday, January 9, 2013. A Celebration of Life and Time of Remembrance for Jayme will be held on Monday evening, January 14, 2013 at 6:30 p.m. at the Gilbertson Funeral Home, Devils Lake. Jayme Jade, son of Randy Olson and Patty (Shorey) Hoffart, was born on July 20, 1981 at Devils Lake. He grew up in Devils Lake and attended St. Joseph School through grade 6, then Central Middle School and also Devils Lake High School. He was a baptized and confirmed member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Jayme lived and worked in Fargo for several years, then returned to Devils Lake and has made Devils Lake his home the past few years working in the Lake Region area. Jayme enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing. When indoors, he loved to play video games and spend time with friends and family. But for the past 2 ½ years, Jayme had made his daughter, Lexus, his number one priority. She was his pride and joy and they held that very special daughter/father bond that would never be broken. Jayme leaves behind those who loved him most. His daughter, Lexus Olson of Devils Lake; father, Randy Olson and his wife Beth also of Devils Lake; his mother, Patty Hoffart and her husband, Steve of Fargo, ND; brother, Christopher Olson also of Fargo; sister, Robin Olson of Madison,WI; brothers, Kenny Olson and Sean Olson of Devils Lake and Ryan Hoffart of Fargo; nieces, Skya Olson and Rylie Burow; grandmother, Margaret Shorey also of Devils Lake; mother of their daughter, Tonya Olson; as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive. Jayme was preceded in death by his grandparents, Art and Lenore Olson and Jack Shorey and uncle, Kenny Olson.
