Honorary Bearers will be Marion’s dear Grandchildren. Music will be provided by her granddaughters-in-law as vocalists and Roger Forde as organist. Marion Ann, daughter of Roy and Cora (Jacobson) Anderson was born on December 9, 1942 at Mercy Hospital, Devils Lake. Marion grew up in the Warwick area and attended Warwick Public School. She later attended Lake Region Junior College in Devils Lake and graduated with an Associate’s Degree in Accounting. Marion married Wendell Anderson and they established their home on a farm in Warwick and were the proud parents of Marty, Brenda and Clayton. For many years, Marion worked on the farm and devoted herself to raising her family. In 1977, Marion began a thirty-five year career with Ramsey National Bank, retiring in July of 2012. She worked in all aspects of banking throughout the years, but retired from the bookkeeping department of the bank. She moved to Devils Lake in 1980 and later to rural Devils Lake. She was an active member of Warwick Lutheran Church and WELCA, Warwick Days Committee, Relay for Life and volunteered at the Lake Region Heritage Center. She enjoyed socializing, playing games, any get-togethers with the “Warwick Girls”. But watching her grandchildren grow and watching their many activities was the most important aspect of Marion’s life. She loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren unconditionally and they were her pride and joy. To know Marion was to know how loyal she was to her family, her friends and her job. She was hard working, very organized, always had the determination and strength needed to get through the hard times. Her faith, her love and kindness always made the good times even better. We have lost someone so very special to us and to so many. Marion is survived by her children, Marty Anderson and his wife, Cleasa of Oriska, ND, Brenda and her husband, Pat Jacobsen of New London, MN and Clayton Anderson of Auburn, NE; six grandchildren, Isaac (Joelle) Anderson, Jacob (Deanna) Anderson, Jonathan (Katie) Anderson and Micah Anderson; Jessica Jacobsen; Allison Anderson; great grandchildren, Ariella and Toby Anderson; sister, Geraldine Brodell of Warwick, ND; several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother William “Roy” Anderson and niece Janet “Birdie” Thomas.
