BEVERLY MAY LITTLEGHOST

Beverly M. Littleghost, 41 of rural Tokio, ND passed away on Thursday, July 11, 2013 at Altru Hospital, Grand Forks, ND. The Wake for Beverly will be held at the Dakotah Oyate Lutheran Church on Wednesday, July 17th beginning at 5:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 8:00 p.m. The procession to Dakotah Oyate will leave on Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. from Wal-Mart. Funeral Services for Beverly will be held on Thursday, July 18, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at the Dakotah Oyate Lutheran Church, Tokio, ND with Pastor Larry Thiele officiating. Burial will be in the Dakotah Oyate Cemetery. Music will be provided by Clifford Littleghost Drum Group and any Drum Group or Singers who would like to share their songs in memory of Beverly are welcome. Beverly May, daughter of Leroy Littleghost and Priscilla Ross was born on June 18, 1972 at Devils Lake, ND. She grew up in the Woodlake/Tokio area. Beverly attended elementary school at St. Michael, ND and also at Mobridge, South Dakota. She moved back to the Spirit Lake Nation and completed Junior High, graduating from the 8th grade in Warwick. She continued at Warwick High School through her Junior years. Beverly then moved to Montana and attended Kicking Horse Job Corps. Beverly returned to North Dakota and made the Woodlake area her home until her death. She worked for 3 years at Dakota Tribal Industries until health problems forced her to retire. Beverly loved her family and the times they had together were very precious to her. She also liked going to the Casino to see her friends. Beverly’s loving family. Her son, Lucas Little; father, Leroy Littleghost; stepfather, Omar Touche; sister, Kimberly Littleghost; brothers, James Littleghost Sr., Robert Touche, Bradley Touche, Anthony Touche Sr., Whitney Littleghost, Perry Paul and Merle IronHawk; special niece, Toddrah Cameron; special nephew, Lytrell Redroad; eighteen nieces and nephews; aunts, Margie Ross, Amelia Chalis and Evelyn Ross; uncle, Kenneth Dunn. Beverly was preceded in death by her mother, Priscilla Touche; sons, Landon Little and Douglas Little; sister, Dina Littleghost; aunties, Katie Ross and Eunice Green; uncles, Peter John Ross Sr.; Dennis Littleghost, Farren Littleghost, Bobby Littleghost and Russell Littleghost. Active Casket Bearers for Beverly will be Todd White, Mark Littleghost, Austin Smith, Ray Peltier, Stanley Touche and Marcus Littleghost. Honorary Bearers will be Stacy Green, Vanessa Littleghost and family, Rena and John Lohnes and family, Darla Thiele and family, Charlene Cavanaugh and family, Carol Littleghost and family, Mary Lohnes and family, Marva Tollefson and family, Helena Littleghost and family, Elaine Robertson and family, Libby Littleghost, June Blueshield and Lorna Walking Eagle and family. If we forgot to mention someone, please forgive us. It was not intentional. We are doing our best during this very sad time.
