WALTER THOMAS CAVANAUGH

Walter T. Cavanaugh, our precious Dad, Companion, Brother, Nephew, Cousin, Friend, Uncle and Son started his journey to the Spirit World on Monday evening, October 7, 2013 at the Abbott-Northwestern Medical Center in Minneapolis, MN. Walter’s family will bring him home on Monday, October 14th to stay with them until the Wake Service which will be held at the Fort Totten Recreation Center, Fort Totten on Tuesday, October 15, 2013 beginning at 4:30 p.m. Walter will be brought home to his mother’s home, Sally Cavanaugh on Monday. A procession to Sally’s home will leave at 4:00 p.m. on Monday from Wal-Mart. Funeral Services for Walter will be held on Wednesday, October 16th at 10:30 a.m. at the Fort Totten Recreation Center with Deacon Tony McDonald, Calvin Campbell and Rev. Jimmy Harris officiating. Walter will be laid to rest in the Presbyterian Cemetery, rural Fort Totten. Walter Thomas Cavanaugh, “Hoksina Duta” (Red Boy) was born on February 18, 1980 at Mercy Hospital, Devils Lake, ND to Walter George Cavanaugh and Sally (Alberts) Cavanaugh. Walter was a very kind-hearted person. He was always nice to everybody, liked to joke, play games on his phone and loved to go on Facebook.
