Camille Grace Walking Eagle “Ogda To Win” (Blue Coat Woman), 45, of Fort Totten began her journey into the spirit world December 28, 2013, at her home in Elgin, Oklahoma.
Visitation and Prayer Service for Camille will be held at Seven Dolors Catholic Church, Fort Totten on Monday, January 6, 2014 beginning at 5:00 p.m. with a Rosary and Scripture Service at 7:00 p.m. The procession to Fort Totten will leave at 4:00 p.m. on Monday from Devils Lake.
Mass of the Resurrection for Camille will be held on Tuesday, January 7th at 10:00 a.m. at Seven Dolors Catholic Church with Fr. Brian Moen celebrating the Mass.
Camille was born February 11, 1968 in Chicago, Illinois to Vern and Velma Lambert. In her younger years she was a fancy dancer. She attended Four Winds High School and graduated with the class of 1986, she then went on to graduate from Crumbs Beauty School of Cosmetology in 1997.
Camille met the love of her life Kyle (Rick) Walking Eagle during high school. The high school sweethearts were married December 22, 1989 in Devils Lake. Her greatest joy in life was being a wife, mother and grandmother to three granddaughters and four grandsons. She was always laughing, smiling, happy and full of life. She had a big heart and was loved by so many people.
She joins in the spirit world her maternal grandparents Peter and Dorothy Dauphinais; paternal grandparents Charles and Grace Lambert; father-in-law Glen Walking Eagle; brother-in-law Myron Wanna; uncles Jack Dauphinais, Mick Lambert, Chuck Lambert, John Paul Lambert; niece Monica Wanna.
Camille is survived by her beloved family, her husband Kyle; daughters Misty, Naomi and Jordan; her beloved grandchildren Kylie, Bryan, Mackenzy, Tyler, Preston, Jayden and Jalissa; parents Vern and Velma Lambert; sisters Blanche, Dorothy, Monique, and Grace; brothers Donovan, Vern Jr., and Charles; mother-in-law Pat Walking Eagle; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Darren Walking Eagle and Iris Walking Eagle; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
