CECELIA MAE GREYWIND-McKAY

Cecelia Mae Greywind-McKay, 54 of Fargo, ND passed away on Monday, December 30, 2013 at the Aneta Parkview Care Center, Aneta, ND. Funeral Services for Cecelia were held on Thursday, January 9, 2014 at 4:00 p.m. at the Dakotah Oyate Lutheran Church, rural Tokio, ND with Reverend Larry Thiele officiating. Burial will be held in the spring of 2014. Cecelia Mae, daughter of Lillian Rosie Greywind and Ignatius Guy Sr. was born in Fort Totten, ND on November 4, 1959. She grew up in Tokio, ND with her family and attended school at St. Michael and Warwick. She also attended school at UND for a time. In 1975, Cecelia started a family of her own and was blessed with 7 children, Cory Allen, LaCosta, Desiree, Rochelle, RedHawk, GreyHawk and Isabella. Cecelia loved her children more than anything else in this world. She had to be strong, but had a gentle and caring heart. Cecelia loved to travel and traveled around the country any chance she had. She enjoyed Bingo and doing crossword puzzles. She had a very special talent for bead work and made many beautiful creations. Cecelia is survived by her husband, Murray McKay; her children, Cory, LaCosta, Desiree, Rochelle, RedHawk, GreyHawk, and Isabella; seventeen grandchildren; sisters, Laura Alveshere and Christy Alveshere; brother, Donald Alveshere and many uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Russell Greywind and Ignatius Guy Jr.; grandparents, John and Elsie Greywind and several aunts and uncles.
