Budene Francine Alberts Eback, “Kampeska Win” (White Shell Woman) of Fort Totten, ND started her journey to the Spirit World on Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at Altru Hospital, Grand Forks, ND.
Budene will return to her home in Fort Totten, the Christopher “Buddy” Alberts residence to be with family and friends on Wednesday, morning, March 19th beginning at 9:00 a.m. The Wake Service for Budene will be held on Wednesday, March 19th, 2014 at the Candeska Cikana Community College, Fort Totten, ND beginning at 5:00 p.m. with Church Services and Time of Remembrance at 8:00 p.m. The procession to the college will leave the Buddy Alberts residence at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
Funeral Services for Budene will be held on Thursday, March 20th at 10:00 a.m. also at the college with Fr. Charles Leute OP officiating. Budene will be laid to rest in the Presbyterian Cemetery, rural Fort Totten. Music will be provided by Tony and Vina McDonald.
Budene was born in Devils Lke, ND on October 30, 1966 to Christopher and Angeline (Dunn) Alberts. She attended elementary school in Fort Totten and also attended Fort Totten High School. She was a member of the Fort Totten High School Rodeo Club where she Barrel Raced. She also played basketball and softball and was a Ladies Fancy Dancer.
After high school, she attended Mary College in Bismarck, Moorhead State University and the Moorhead Technical College.
Budene loved spending time with her children and her grandson, Baby Sahne Eback Jr. and her granddaughter, Morissa Dunn.
Budene is survived by her loving family. Her father Buddy (Gloria) Alberts; her children Antone Eback, Shane (Shantel) Eback, Angela Eback and Jacob Eback; grandson Baby Shane Eback Jr. and granddaughter Morissa Dunn; brothers Dean (Lolita) Dunn, Maynard Dunn, Terry Dunn, Tyrel Alberts and Ambrose Whiteman; sisters Alfreida (Bob) Dunn, Alberta (Ted) Dunn and Colleen Cook; all Nieces, Nephews and Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother Angeline Alberts; aunts Lynda Alberts, Dorothy Dunn, Rita Whitetail, Vivian SpottedHorse, Emma Dunn and Caroline Whiteman Dunn; sisters Theresa TwoHearts and Carrie TwoHearts; uncles Allen Alberts, Roger Alberts and Joseph Alberts; paternal grandparents George and Alvina Alberts; maternal grandparents Martin and Josephine Dunn; mother-in-law Jean Jetty cousins Dana Whitetail, Claudette Whitetail, Emrolyn Whitetail, Linda Fox, LaVerne Fox, Lynn Alberts, Walter Cavanaugh, Michael Lancelotta, Dominic Lancelotta, Emerick SpottedHorse, Curtis Youngbear, Patricia Dunn, Aaron Dunn, Aaron Littlewind Dunn and Jamie Jetty and other dear relatives.
