Damien Smith was born on October 4, 2013 to Iris Mendez and Orlen Smith Jr. Damien was a very happy little guy, he enjoyed being with his family. He always had a smile on his face, with his big bright eyes. He enjoyed many things with his short time with us such as, jumping in his jumper. He loved to sit up and watch everyone, including his favorite shows, “SpongeBob Squarepants: and “Mickey Mouse Club House”. He loved to watch his big brother Angel practice his ninja moves and enjoyed his singing. He also enjoyed when his big sister Christa would sing to him. Angel and Christa enjoyed having their little brother around even if he was crying they would try and comfort hime. He also had his special time with his Grandma Trudy. He loved his mommy time with lots of hugs and kisses, he was her “Chunks of Love”. The foods that he enjoyed were mashed potatoes, rice, steamed broccoli and he enjoyed snacking on his Cheetos. Your Smile
Your smile can mend a broken heart,
And heal a broken soul.
Bring light to the depths of darkness
As deep as it may go.
Your smile brought hope to all
When it seemed that life was lost.
Too broke to purchase peace
Your smile, it paid the cost.
The smile of an angel
A smile, God’s very own.
God missed you much too much
He turned a gift into a loan.
Our lives a little darker
Now that your smile is not around.
But Heaven just got brighter
With your smile shining down.
To my love, Damien
From Uncle Carlos
