Ruth’s caring nature, dedication to her family, friends and patients, her steadfast faith was never wavering. Caring for her family always came first, but she made everyone feel they were the most important person in her life. She was always the first one to welcome newcomers to the community with a special treat, such as her world famous Special K Bars and Chocolate Chip cookies. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting and baking and shared those creations with everyone. She collected angels and nativity scenes. She was an avid Vikings fan, but because she loved her granddaughter so much she made a Green Bay Packer Blanket. Ruth was a Grandma who loved her grandchildren and treasured every moment with them. Before they were grandparents, Ruth and Arnie were the biggest fans of their daughters, attending every school event they participated in and always giving a “Yahoo” in loving support and making each and every birthday special.
