Jordan attended Four Winds Elementary, Middle School, and High School before attending Quentin Burdick Job Corp in Minot, ND receiving his GED. Jordan “Shorty” was a fun loving person who was always smiling, happy, and helpful. He was always grateful for anything he received and gave just as much. In middle school he enjoyed participating in cross country and enjoyed breakdancing, fishing, weightlifting and listening to rock music. Jordan was very outgoing and made friends easily no matter where he was visiting or traveling and enjoyed his experiences to the fullest. When home he loved spending his time with his family and friends watching his favorite sitcoms including: Two and a Half Men, Total Divas, Sponge Bob, and The Family Guy. Jordan also was a fan of Pixar and Animated Films and would often look forward to going to the theater to watch Pixar’s newest releases.
Along with his many other interests he would spend numerous hours drawing and listening to music and in April 2014 he received a “People’s Choice Award” for a drawing entry into the Contemporary Division at Candeska Cikana Community College. Jordan also recently started singing with his brothers and the “Rhythm Riders” drum group. He was employed at the Spirit Lake Casino and aspiring to do more.
Jordan missed his brother Dion so much throughout this past year. As Dion and Jordan grew up one was never without the other, if one was there you always knew the other was around the corner somewhere. Jordan and Dion have now been reunited and will be together always, joining our loved ones and family who have gone before and will be waiting together to welcome everyone home in time. He will be greatly missed by all who loved him, especially his immediate family and friends. Jordan “Shorty” was a loving son, grandson, brother, cousin, and uncle.
