JARED ALLAN EISENZIMMER

Jared A. Eisenzimmer, 35 of Devils Lake formerly of Fargo, ND passed away at his home on Thursday, October 30, 2014. Mass of the Resurrection will be held on Monday, November 3, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Devils Lake with Very Reverend C.F. Wilhelm celebrating the Mass. Jared will be laid to rest in St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the Gilbertson Funeral Home, Devils Lake on Sunday, November 2nd from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. with a Rosary and Scripture Service at 4:00 p.m. Visitation on Monday will be at the church one hour prior to the funeral Mass. Jared Allan, son of Joan Yager and Allan Eisenzimmer was born on November 13, 1978 at Devils Lake, ND. He grew up in Devils Lake and attended Prairie View Elementary School and graduated from Devils Lake High School with the class of 1997. In high school, Jared was a forward on the Satan’s Hockey Team and was very active in the boys cheer group known as “The Herd.” Jared continued his education at UND, Grand Forks and was a member of the Phi Delta Theta Fraternity. Jared married Andrea Brend on April 29, 2005 in Grand Forks and were the proud parents of two precious children, Jack Dylan and Layla Rae. Jared’s passions were cooking, hunting and golf. While living in Fargo, Jared loved the restaurant industry and was the manager at several locations in the area. Jared moved to Devils Lake in March of 2014. Jared had come to enjoy down-hill skiing, softball and playing darts. All of these activities were always more fun when done with dear friends and family. Jared is survived by his children Jack Dylan and Layla Rae Eisenzimmer of Moorhead, MN; parents Joan and Jim Hagen, Fargo and Allan and Virginia “Sis” Eisenzimmer of Devils Lake; brother Kyle Eisenzimmer and his fiance Nicole Leier, Minneapolis, MN; sisters Kensi and Kasi Eisenzimmer, Devils Lake; grandmother Marge Eisenzimmer, Mesa, AZ; mother of his children Andrea Olson, Moorhead, MN; several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his step father Randy “Petey” Pederson; grandparents Paul Eisenzimmer and Pete and Margaret Yager. Reading the Scriptures will be Carla Eisenzimmer and Linda Elliot. Gift Bearers will be Terri Duchsherer, Vicki Craig and Kristi Eisenzimmer. Music will be provided by Rita Thompson Halvorson and Rhonda Thompson and JoDee Lagein. The Rosary will be led by Julius Senger.
