A Wake Service for Parker will be held on Sunday, December 7, 2014 at St. Michael’s Recreation Center, St. Michael, ND beginning at 5:00 p.m. with a Rosary, Scripture Service and Time of Sharing at 8:00 p.m. The procession to St. Michael will leave at 4:00 p.m. from the former Wal-Mart. Mass of the Resurrection will be held on Monday, December 8, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Michael’s Catholic Church with Father Paul Schuster celebrating the Mass. Parker Dean was born on July 9, 1996 in Devils Lake, ND, the son of Perry Sr. and Sharon (Black) Mudgett. He grew up in St. Michael, ND and in 2005 his family moved to Crow Hill. Parker attended St. Michael Head Start, Maddock Public School and was currently a Senior at Minnewaukan High School. Parker was very talented. In the summer months and weekends, he would work with cattle and fix fence on the Ploium farm. Parker also worked with his Dad and brothers at Johnson Paving, Crossroads Auto, My-Ty Contracting and Nelson’s farm. Parker drove and fixed semis with his Dad and brothers. Parker enjoyed fishing with his Uncle Bob and siblings and riding horse. In High School, Parker enjoyed playing football and was a member of the Four Winds-Minnewaukan Basketball Team. Parker was very excited about the team this year because he knew they would have a good chance at going to State and taking 1st place! Parker was our gentle giant, he was a kind and loving son and brother. When Parker was around, you instantly felt safe. Parker loved spending time with his family, niece, nephews and friends. Parker’s beautiful eyes and loving smile will be forever missed by his family and friends. Parker is survived by his parents Perry Sr. and Sharon; sisters Nicole (Trestan) Demarce and Penny (Matt) Frisen; brothers Perry Mudgett Jr., Duane Mudgett and Nevada Feather; nephews DJ Mudgett, Weston Mudgett, Zach Mudgett; niece Jazmine Mudgett; godmother Brooke Black; aunts Connie Black, Rose Mudgett, Joan Black, Jennifer Black; uncles Claude, Craig and William Black, Richard (Elisa) Mudgett, Matthew, Chris, Greg Melchoir, Bennett Mudgett, Archie (Cindy) Mudgett, Jerry (Janet) Mudgett, Rodney Steve; grandmothers Carolyn Black, Leah Black, Lorraine Greybear, Christine Alex, Myra Pearson, Joyce Madigan, Jenny Royce; grandfathers Pierre Culbertson, Jim Baker, Bob Mudgett, Jess Mudgett; many cousins also survive.
