RAINY IRIS HILL

Rainy I. Hill, “Comes With the Rain Woman” 23 of Oberon, ND passed away at her home on Wednesday, December 31, 2014. The Wake for Rainy will be held on Friday, January 9, 2015 beginning at 5:00 p.m. at the Crow Hill Recreation Center, rural Fort Totten. A Prayer Service and Time of Remembrance will be at 8:00 p.m. The procession to Crow Hill will leave at 4:00 p.m. on Friday from the former Wal-Mart. Funeral services for Rainy will be on Saturday, January 10, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. also at the Crow Hill Recreation Center with Reverend Larry Thiele officiating. Rainy will be laid to rest in the St. Thomas Episcopal Cemetery, rural Fort Totten. Rainy Iris, daughter of Robert Joshua and Mildred Hill was born on July 11, 1991 in Devils Lake, ND. She grew up in Fort Totten. She attended kindergarten in Sheyenne, ND, Four Winds and graduated from Minnewaukan High School in 2011. Rainy loved the outdoors and nature. She loved long walks, riding on the 4-Wheeler and had come to enjoy deer hunting. She was a great cook and baker and enjoyed sharing her creations with family and friends. She was into Rock and Country music and shopping. She played on several dart teams and was always very supportive and encouraging to her many friends. Rainy’s maternal family survivors include: daughter Madysen Plioum and Madysen’s father Corey Plioum; father Robert J. Joshua and mother Mildred Hill; brothers Dennis E.
