Raymond Leroy, son of Fred and Stella (Rhoades) Tucker was born on April 7, 1929at Big Timber, Montana where he was reared and educated.
Raymond enlisted in the United States Army and served his country overseas in Germany and Austria. After his honorable discharge, Raymond returned to Montana and married Anita Whitford and to this union were born 4 children, Clayton Curtis, Sheri, Robin and Raedene. They lived, worked and raised their family in the Billings area of Montana.
Raymond’s cattle ranch at Big Timber was his passion. He loved his cattle and the outdoors and everything that came with it. He also so treasured time spent with his grandchildren, they were his pride and joy. When he couldn’t be outdoors, he enjoyed watching “Westerns” and you never spent more than 5 minutes with Raymond and you heard at least one joke and the joke telling could go on for hours.
Raymond was united in marriage to Sandra L. Burt on October 28, 2005 at Big Timber, MT. They made their home there and eventually moved to Devils Lake to be closer to Sandra’s family as Raymond’s health declined.
He was a blessing in the lives of all who knew him and he will be dearly missed.
