BRADLEY BLAZER

Bradley Blazer, 53 of Devils Lake, ND passed away peacefully Sunday, January 25, 2015 at the Mayo Methodist Hospital, Rochester, MN fighting the battle with CML (Chronic Myelocytic Leukemia) with his loving family at his side. Brad’s After Life Party will be held at the KC Hall of Devils Lake, Saturday, February 21, 2015 from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Bradley Douglas Blazer was born on July 16, 1961 to Loren and Marilyn (Hadland) Blazer in Devils Lake where he was raised and educated. After graduating, Brad worked at various jobs, including Skippers and Happy Joes. In 1989 he began working at CarQuest and worked there until the time of his illness. Brad married Robin Rude (Mackey) on May 4, 2002 in Devils Lake where they made their home along with two children, Noelle and Tyler Crockett, eight grandchildren, Shaylee, Jayden, Jasmine, Sienna, Nevaeh, Treavean, Cadynn and Jace and great granddaughter Ella. Brad enjoyed life and his favorite things were fishing, hunting with his dogs, Carter and DJ and the boys. But nothing was more important to him then spending time with family. Brad was preceded in death by his parents; sister Valerie (Blazer) Bergstrom; nephew Darren Blazer; grandparents Oliver and Bonnie Blazer and Violet and Douglas Clark along with many aunts and uncles. Brad leaves behind his wife, Robin Blazer; children Noelle Crockett and Tyler (Chelsea) Crockett; 8 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter-they called him Papa Brad and he loved them very much. He also leaves behind a sister Sharen Blazer; brothers Dean (Allison) Blazer and Tim (Cindy) Blazer; 10 nieces and nephews; many great nieces and great nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and a very special friend Roger Hammond whom Brad called his other brother and the wife called him the girlfriend. Those he left behind feel so blessed to be a part of his life. We will never forget his kindness, sense of humor, his determination, bravery, his strength to beat this disease, but most of all his forgiving nature. We love Brad, Our New Hero.
