Loidah, daughter of Clarence and Alvira (Solmonson) Molstad was born in Litchfield, MN on November 22, 1929. At a young age, she moved with the family to the Warwick area where she graduated from Warwick High School.
Loidah married Michael G. Bosch on June 26, 1951. After 40 years of farming by Warwick, they retired and in 1994 moved to Devils Lake.
Loidah worked as a CNA at Mercy Hospital and in 1973, she went back to school at Lake Region Junior College and began a career as a LPN. She worked at Mercy Hospital for 22 years and after “retiring” she worked at the Good Samaritan Center for 5 years.
While living in Warwick, Loidah was an active member of St. James Catholic Church and the Altar Society and after moving to Devils Lake continued her dedicated service to St. Joseph Catholic Church and St. Jude’s Altar Society Circle. She was a dedicated 4-H leader for 21 years and was an encouragement to her children and the many others who were participants in 4-H. She also enjoyed membership in the Warwick 55 Club and was a past president.
When Loidah had some “spare time” she was an avid reader, enjoyed needlework, crocheting and gave special care to her many beautiful flowers and plants.
In the eyes of her family, Loidah was the best wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She had a special gift of making people feel good about themselves. It didn’t matter if she knew them. She made everyone smile and had a wonderful sense of humor. She always brought joy to the heart and a positive energy.
