Ramona M. Bull, “Ma Bull” 73 of Fort Totten, ND passed away on Monday, March 9, 2015 at Mercy Hospital, Devils Lake, ND.
A Wake will be held at St. Michael’s Wellness Center, St. Michael, ND on Friday, March 13, 2015 beginning at 4:00 p.m. with a Rosary and Prayer Service at 8:00 p.m. The procession to St. Michael will leave at 3:00 p.m. on Friday from the former WalMart.
Funeral Services for Ramona will be held on Saturday, March 14th at St. Michael’s Wellness Center at 10:00 a.m. with Father Paul Schuster officiating. Ramona will be laid to rest in St. Jerome’s Cemetery, rural Fort Totten.
Ramona Marie Bull, “Peltier” was born August 3, 1941 to Cecelia (Lenoir) and Fred Peltier at Grahams Island, ND where she grew up. She attended school at the Indian Boarding School in Fort Totten, ND. After school she returned home and met her loving husband, Clayton Dale Bull Sr. They were married on January 16, 1958 in Minnewaukan, ND. Ramona made her life and raised her family in Fort Totten, ND.
Ramona enjoyed spending time with her family, long road trips, drives on the gravel roads and going to Minnewaukan to grocery shop. She loved to bake oven bread, cinnamon bread and her famous apple butter. She loved canning food and putting a delicious meal on the table for family and friends to enjoy.
Ramona loved to sit by her window and watch her grandchildren play and to watch her chickens, especially “Cluck Cluck”, her pet chicken.
Ramona is survived by her loving family. Her daughters Patsy Owlboy, Rose (Steve) Burkhard, Karen Longie, Bonnie (Charlie) Bull, Julia Fox, Susan (A.J.) Bull, Sheila Bull, Angie Bull and Mary Bruce; sons Lawrence (Valerie) Bull, Alex (Sonya) Bull, James (Lynissa) Bull, Clyde Bull, Jesse Bull, twins Bobby Joe (Joann) Bull and Bobby Lee Bull and Derrick Bull; fifty grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; sister Eva Dauphinais, Devils Lake; brothers Fred (Bernice) Peltier and Clifford (Mary) Peltier Sr. both of Belcourt, ND; special Grandson Dakota Bull and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Preceded in death by her parents; her husband Clayton Bull Sr. on June 29, 2000; son Clayton Dale Bull Jr.; grandson Clayton Blackbird; brothers John O., Joseph Sr., Paul O., Frank and Gilbert Sr. Peltier; sisters Mary McNamara, Olive Grant, Margaret Delavine and Jeanette McKay.
We would like to thank the Staff at IHS Clinic in Fort Totten, the Spirit Lake Ambulance and the Devils Lake Ambulance for their valiant efforts to save our mother.

If anyone has been missed or left out were are sorry. We didn’t mean to forget anyone at our time of grieving.
