Phyllis A. Lindseth, 90 of Devils Lake formerly of the Alsen/Munich area of North Dakota passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2015 at the Good Samaritan Center, Devils Lake.  Funeral Services for Phyllis will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Zoar Free Lutheran Church, Hampden with Reverend Craig Wentzel officiating. Graveside Services for Phyllis will be held at the Alsen Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.  Visitation will be on Saturday at the church one hour prior to the funeral service. Phyllis was born November 9, 1924   at Wahpeton, ND, the daughter of Victor and Louise (Leuring) Burton.  She grew up in Wahpeton and graduated from Wahpeton High School in 1942.  She worked at a local bakery/eatery, the Del Rio Café, until moving to Seattle in 1942 to work at the shipyard office as a clerk.  She returned to Wahpeton in 1945 to work at a local drug store, Miller Drug.    Phyllis married Knut A. Lindseth on September 15, 1945 at Alsen, ND and resided there until 1956 then moved to the farm by Munich, ND.  Upon retiring from farming in 1976, they purchased a home in Munich.  Knut passed away on May 9, 1993.  Phyllis sold her home and moved into the Munich West View Apartments in 2013.    Phyllis was a member of the Zoar Lutheran Church.  She participated in league bowling until she turned the age of 75, and was also an active member of the Munich Senior Citizens until it dissolved.  She enjoyed entertaining her grandchildren and great grandchildren, sewing, setting puzzles, crocheting, reading and embroidering.  Phyllis is survived by her loving family.  Her children, Louise (Merril) Klein, Tolna, ND, Allen Lindseth, St. Joe, MN, JoEllen (Robert) Hall and Rita (Bruce) Wirth all of Munich, ND; eleven grandchildren Wendy Deckert, Rosemount, MN, Sina (Scott) Horst, Mandan, ND, Kris (Danielle) Lindseth, Philip Lindseth, Mathew Lindseth and Brianne (Matt) Mitzel all of Munich, ND, Shannon Hall, Fargo, ND, Brandon (Jami) Hall and Nikki (Scotty) Schmaltz all of Devils Lake, ND, Tanya (Shane) Johnson, Verdi, MN and Ben (Marissa) Wirth, West Fargo, ND; twenty-eight great grandchildren; sisters Elaine Burton, Spokane, WA and Donna Standley, Wahpeton, ND; sister-in-law Christine Osterberg, Escondido, CA; several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her husband Knut; parents; brother and sister-in-law Frank “Pat” and Bernadette Burton; sister and brother-in-law Ruth and Fred Seibel.  Casket Bearers for Phyllis will be Shannon Hall, Brandon Hall, Kris Lindseth, Philip Lindseth, Matthew Lindseth, Ben Wirth, Wendy Deckert, Sina Horst, Nikki Schmaltz, Brianne Mitzel and Tanya Johnson. Honorary Bearers will be Phyllis' great grandchildren.
