Paul W. Haugen, Denver, Colorado formerly of Edmore, ND passed away early Sunday morning, November 8, 2015 at Swedish Medical Center in Englewood, CO with his dear friend Michael at his side.
Paul Wayne Haugen was born September 8, 1954 in Edmore, ND. He was the son of Orville and Alyce (Perich) Haugen. He was raised on the family farm, attended Edmore Public School, graduating in 1972 and was a baptized and confirmed member of Bethany Lutheran Church, Derrick, ND.
Paul attended UND after high school and worked at the Grand Forks Air Force Base for Boeing while living in Grand Forks. Paul moved to Denver in 1978 and worked at various places in the Denver area.
Paul is survived by his mother, Alyce Haugen, Edmore; brother David Haugen and his wife Laurie also of Edmore; nieces and nephew, great nieces and great nephews Alysa (Tim) Tulibaski and children Declan and Clayton, Argyle, MN, Sarah (Bailey) Nordin and daughter Lennon, Fargo, ND, Emily (Danny) Hebert and sons Gavin and Nolan of New Ulm, MN and Chad (Kim) Haugen and children Leo and Vayda of Apple Valley, MN; special friends Michael Elfert and Deb Smith of Denver; numerous cousins, aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his father Orville; brother James and sister Arlyce.
Funeral Services for Paul will be held on Saturday, November 14, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Living Word Free Lutheran Church, Edmore with Reverend Craig Wentzel officiating. Burial will be in the Edmore Cemetery.
Serving as Casket Bearers for Paul will be Chad Haugen, Tim Tulibaski, Bailey Nordin, Danny Hebert, Ken Weaver, Curtis Landsem and Harlen Perich. Music will be provided by Pam Landsem.
