Kingston Toby Lara, 2 month old son of Clint Lara and Jordan Ruth Hanson died on Friday, November 20, 2015 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester, MN due to complications from a congenital heart defect.
Funeral Services for Kingston will be held at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, Devils Lake at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 25, 2015 with Reverend Tom Westcott officiating. Burial will be in the Devils Lake Cemetery following the service.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 24th at the Gilbertson Funeral Home, Devils Lake from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and will continue on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. and at the church one hour prior to the funeral service.
Casket Bearers for Kingston will be his god parents Eric Linde and Mariah Fixen and music will be provided by Patty Cote.
Kingston Toby, precious son of Clint and Jordan was born on September 19, 2015 at Mercy Hospital, Devils Lake. His short life had its health challenges, but he was the pride and joy, apple of the eye of his parents, grandparents and entire family. Although Kingston's time here on earth was short, he touched many lives and was loved by everyone who met him. His perfect little smile and long skinny fingers will be cherished in the hearts of his family and friends forever. He was a beautiful child of God, we return to the Creator and are thankful and blessed to have shared in his brief, beautiful life.
Kingston is survived by his parents Clint “CJ” Lara and Jordan Ruth Hanson of Devils Lake; grandparents Amber and Clint Lara Sr., Jami and Brandon Hall and Wade Hanson all of Devils Lake; great grandparents Allan and Janet Hanson, Valerie and Lyle Skadsem and Roberta Lara also all of Devils Lake, Jose Lara of Minto, ND and Rob and JoEllen Hall of Munich, ND; great great grandparents Judith Walswick, Hatton, ND and Teresa Charboneau, Devils Lake; god parents Eric Linde and Mariah Fixen; several aunts, uncles, great aunts, great uncles and cousins also survive.
He was preceded in death by his great grandparents Bob and Darlene “Cookie” Jacobson.
Kingston's family would like to extend a "Thank You" to everyone from near and far for the thoughts, prayers and kindness during this difficult time.
