Kayleetha S. Georgeson, (Blue Sky Woman) “Mahpiya To Win” age 11 of Devils Lake, ND passed away on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 in Rochester, MN at the Mayo Clinic Hospital, St. Mary's Campus in the loving care of her family. A Wake will be held on Friday, January 1, 2016 beginning at 5:00 p.m. at the Fort Totten Recreation Center. The procession to Fort Totten will leave at 4:00 p.m. on Friday from the form Wal-Mart. The Funeral Service for Kayleetha will be held on Saturday, January 2, 2016 also at the Fort Totten Recreation Center with Reverend Larry Thiele officiating. Kayleetha will be laid to rest in the St. Thomas Presbyterian Cemetery, rural Fort Totten. Kayleetha Skye, daughter of Luke Georgeson and Tara Joy Cavanaugh was born on April 7, 2004 in Devils Lake, ND. She attended Head Start in Tokio and elementary schools in Warwick, Oberon, Four Winds and Prairie View. She was at 5th grader at Central Middle School at the time of her death. Kayleetha was a member of the Prairie View School Choir and Boys and Girls Beach Club. Kayleetha loved to draw and that was her favorite pastime whenever she was visiting family and friends. She kept everyone up-to-date on her life through Snap-Chat with her friends and family. Kayleetha was diagnosed with a brainstem tumor back in March of 2015. She went through 5 surgeries and 6 weeks of Proton Bean Radiation. Her precious days with us on earth were too few, but each of those days was lived to the fullest and always shared in love and joy. Kayleetha is survived by her parents Tara Cavanaugh and Clayton Flock; biological father, Luke (Jen) Georgeson; brothers Kaylen Georgeson (9), Osias Flock (3), Orison Flock (1); grandparents Sharon and Albin Georgeson, Clark Cavanaugh and Colleen Alberts; great grandparents Kenneth (Flo) Dunn, Sally Cavanaugh and Winona Fox; god parents Lisa Georgeson and Jaydean Alberts; aunts and uncles Lisa (Ty) Georgeson, Naomi (Jon) Marbury, Yvonne Georgeson, Matt (Tina) Georgeson, Jaydean (Kerri) Alberts, Zac Alberts, Jonathan Cavanaugh, Jarret (Brittany) Cook, Christopher (Breann) Cook, Bethany Georgeson, Angela Eback, Jacob Eback, Shane (Shantel) Eback, Antone Eback, Rodney Martin and Kiesha Georgeson; great aunts and great uncles Hilda and Louis Garcia, Alberta Redfox, Kay Redfox, Geraldine Redfox, Dean (Loita) Dunn, Maynard Dunn, Terry (Anna) Dunn, Tyrel (Aubrey) Alberts, Alfreda (Bob) Charboneau, Alberta (Ted) Dunn, Cora Whiteman, Donna Whitetail, Carol Whiteman, Catalina Herman, Perry (Joni) Cavanaugh, Melissa Cavanaugh, Jerry Cavanaugh, Mary Cavanaugh, Willard Cavanaugh, David Cavanaugh, Jeff Cavanaugh and John Cavanaugh; close friends Niyonna, Keelie, Lexie, Lilly Anna, Cece, Greta, Alissa, Cylis and Dagney. She was preceded in death by her grandparents Ruth and JB Cavanaugh; great grandparents; aunt Budean Alberts; uncles Mark Lufkins Sr. and Clint Georgeson and other beloved relatives.
