Beatrice Adel Hunt

Beatrice Adel Hunt “Ista Awasté” (Pretty Eyes) 4 day old daughter of Denise and Rustin Hunt Sr. passed away at her home in rural St. Michael on Thursday, December 31, 2015 in the loving care of her family and Altru Hospice. A Time of Remembrance and Prayer for Beatrice will be held on Thursday, January 7, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the Dakota Baptist Church, Fort Totten, ND with Pastor Paul Young officiating. The procession to Fort Totten will leave at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday from the Gilbertson Funeral Home, Devils Lake. Casket Bearers will be Beatrice’s brothers Isaak Hunt and D’Angelo Hunt. Honorary Bearers will be her brothers Izlee Hunt, Rustin Hunt Jr., D’Marco Hunt and Dylan Knutson. Beatrice Adel was born on Sunday, December 27, 2015 at Mercy Hospital, Devils Lake to her loving parents Denise Blackbird Hunt and Rustin Hunt Sr. Beatrice is survived by her loving family. Her parents; brothers Isaak (Jaylynn) Hunt, D’Angelo Hunt, Izlee Hunt, Rustin Hunt Jr., D’Marco Hunt and Dylan Knutson; sisters Trinity Hunt, Trina “Lilly” Hunt, Tayonna “Rosie” Hunt, Hailey Delorme and Jodeci Knutson; great grandmother Elaine Robertson; grandparents Ronald Hunt Sr., Johanna Robertson Hunt, Jacqueline Blackbird Peltier and Daniel N. Peltier Sr.; god mothers Jacqueline Blackbird Peltier and Trinity Hunt; uncles Norman (Lisa) Blackbird, Bennet Blackbird, Travis Blackbird and Ronald Hunt Jr.; aunts Samantha Hunt and Crystal Robertson; niece Angelita Hunt and nephew Adam Hunt and numerous family members. A special thanks to Spirit Lake Ambulance Services, Altru Hospice, Dr. Martin, Emergency Room Medical Team, Dr. Wayman and a very special thanks to N.I.C.U. Flight Team of Sioux Falls, South Dakota for flying in to help assist with our beloved angel Beatrice. We all love her and will miss her very much. She was preceded in death by her great grandfather Thomas Robertson Sr. and great grandparents Lilly and Herb Hunt, Beatrice Belgarde Joramo and Jerome Blackbird Sr.
