Mahlan T. “Mash” RedFox, 47 of the Spirit Lake Nation, began his journey to the Spirit World on Sunday, February 28, 2016 at Altru Hospital, Grand Forks, ND.
The Wake for Mash will be held on Sunday, March 6, 2016 beginning at 5:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 8:00 p.m. all at the WoodLake Recreation Center, Tokio, ND. The procession to Tokio will leave at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday from City Plaza, Devils Lake.
The Funeral Service will be on Monday, March 7, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. also at the WoodLake Recreation Center. Mahlan will be laid to rest in the Bdecan Presbyterian Cemetery, rural Tokio.
Mahlen “Mash” Redfox was born August 26, 1968 in Devils Lake, ND to Geraldine & the late Archie Redfox. He attended school in Warwick Public school. He began working at a young age with his father on construction sites and with his uncle Art helping care for the buffalo & in Park River doing farm work.
Mash met Cheryl Longie in the late 90’s and they began their life, they had 3 children, living a majority of their life in the Woodlake area.
During his free time Mash like to play pool, hunting & visiting his many friends. Most of all he liked spending time with his grandchildren and family.
