CALE W. GOODWILL

Funeral Services for Cale will be held on Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at 4:00 p.m. at St. Olaf Lutheran Church, Devils Lake with Pastor James Travers officiating. Friends may call at the church one hour prior to the funeral service on Wednesday. Cale William Goodwill, beloved son of Douglas and Lynn Goodwill, was born on November 2, 1986 in Breckenridge, Minnesota and died on May 1, 2016 near Garske, North Dakota. Cale was confirmed at St. Olaf Lutheran Church in Devils Lake in 2000 and graduated from Devils Lake High School in 2005. Cale was an extraordinarily good and caring person. He loved his family and friends, and his home on the Goodwill farm south of Starkweather. Cale enjoyed being outdoors, working with his Dad in their custom harvesting business and spending time with his dogs on the farm. He was an avid cross-country and downhill skier, taking several recent ski trips with his dad to the mountains. Cale treasured his frequent trips to Minneapolis to see Natalie and Jake, and spending precious time with grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Cale was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Mavis Goodwill, and his maternal grandparents, Burnell and Alice Myhra. He is survived by his paternal grandfather, Maurice Goodwill, Fargo, his parents, Doug and Lynn Goodwill, Devils Lake, his sister Natalie (Jacob Wittenberg) Goodwill, Minneapolis, his aunts, uncles, and cousins; Monte (Shannon) Myhra, East Bethel, Minnesota, Wayne (Barb) Myhra, Wahpeton, Karen (Jim) Lee, Port Orchard, Washington, Kay (Kevin) Berger, Wahpeton, Lecia (Terry) Salquist, West Fargo, ND, Jana (Rick) Judisch, Moorhead, Bill (Rita) Goodwill, Fargo, Patricia (Rick) Anderson, Fargo, Denise (Arlan Kunz) Goodwill, Fargo, and Stephanie, Andrew, Joshua, Allen, Don, Tracy, Sarah, Patrick, Travis, Ivar, Nelson, Matt, Laura, Austin, Tony, Tyler, Nick, Jackson, Isaac, Evyn, Blair, and Stacy.
