He was most proud of accomplishing his dream of the tribe having their very own Casino and Resort and he did accomplish his dream, creating 1500 jobs for his Spirit Lake members.
Carl was a life time member of the Miraculous Medal Association, although he was a busy person, he always took time to pray and never stopped believing. He played basketball in High School and understood the game of ball! He enjoyed watching Rick Smith coach a team of boys each year and anxiously followed them game to game until he no longer could and then he listened on the radio and cheered and yelled behind closed doors.
