Rachael L. Alexander passed away on Friday, September 2, 2016 at Breaux Bridge, Louisiana at the age of 29 years.
Funeral Services for Rachael will be held on Thursday, September 22, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, Devils Lake with Reverend Tom Westcott officiating. Music will be provided by Patty Cote.
Rachael Louise, daughter of Don Alexander and Melodie (Madson) Watt was born on June 2, 1987 at Thibodaux, Louisiana. At age 3 she moved with family to Devils Lake.
Rachael attended Prairie View Elementary School, Central Middle School and graduated from Devils Lake High School with the class of 2005. She was very active in the Skating Club and other school activities. She continued her education online for several years, focusing on Psychology.
Rachael was a very conscientious, dedicated, hard-working employee. She was always a favorite waitress at the Cove, Cedar Inn and Mr. and Mrs. J’s. She worked in the Dietary Department at Heartland Care Center and loved interacting with the many residents. In Rachael’s spare time, she loved scrapbooking and was an avid Marilyn Monroe fan and collector of her memorabilia.
Rachael was a sweet, kind hearted, beautiful, loving daughter, granddaughter, mother, sister, aunt, niece and dear friend. She will be so greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
Rachael is survived by her loving family. Her precious daughters Kennedee Lee and McKenzee Rae Dugdale; mother Melodie Watt, Devils Lake; father Don Alexander, Breaux Bridge, LA; grandparents Dave and Linda Madson, Oberon, ND; brothers Adam (Rozanna) Alexander, Louisiana and Dustin Alexander, Arkansas; step sister Stephanie Ledet; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
