CHARLES G. EVENSON

Charles E Evenson (November 9th 1946 – September 28th 2016) Charlie was born November 9th 1946 the son of Edwin & Phyllis Evenson of Oberon ND. Passed away September 28th 2016 at Sanford Home Care, Fargo ND. Charlie spent many years at the Grafton State School in Grafton ND. He also resided in Fargo ND a few years. He has been in Devils Lake ND at REM Home for about 12 years. His love of music and playing his drums is what kept him entertained for hours. He loved following Dad around the farm helping out when he could. He may have been blind but he could find his way around pretty good, and he knew many people by their voice and love to visit with all of them. He is survived by his brothers, Allan (wife Pegi) from Lake Havasu AZ, Richard from Sheyenne ND, Norman (wife Laurie) from Buxton ND, Don (wife Linda) from Vancouver WA, sister Nora Simonson (husband Robert) from Vancouver WA; several nieces and nephews also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral Services for Charlie will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at the Gilbertson Funeral Home, Devils Lake, ND with Reverend Natasha Woilzel-Kolles officiating. Music will be provided by Jared Kolles. Burial will be in the Antelope Valley Lutheran Cemetery, rural Oberon following the funeral service.
