Robert C Jacobson, 88, of Warwick, ND went to be with Jesus early Saturday morning, 10/15/16.
He was born August 7, 1928, on the homestead farm of his grandparents in Eddy County, the son of Carl and Melinda (Olson) Jacobson. He was raised and educated in Warwick.
He worked as a welder in the ship yards in Portland, Oregon, during WWII. After which he returned to farm. He married Gladys Beckstrand, October 8, 1949. He lived in Warwick, built a lake home by Horseshoe Lake, then farmed the family farm.
He was a respected member of the community and a member of Warwick Lutheran Church. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved his family and cattle. He was a faithful, modest, humble man of integrity.
Survived by his wife, 5 children: Ronald, Warwick; Janel (Kent) McKinnon, Edgerton, MN; Robert Jr., Mt. Pleasant, MI; Corby, Sheyenne; Quentin (Trish), Mesa, AZ;
10 Grandchildren: Ryan (Karla), Kyle (Jane), Noel (Bo), Colin (Beth), Krystal (Nathan), Tiffany (Chris), Priscilla (Josh), Levi (Julie), Amber (Kevin), Michael (Devin).
16 Great Grandchildren: Kindra, Hunter, Isaac, Bailey, Kailar, Lili, Layton, Isabella, Madison, Freya, Jackson, Ayden, Taylin, Carson, Henry, Amelia.

Preceded by: Carl and Melinda Jacobson (parents), Edwin Jacobson, brother and Heidi Jacobson his granddaughter.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, October 20, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Warwick Lutheran Church with Reverend John Monson officiating. Visitation will be held at the Gilbertson Funeral Home, Devils Lake on Wednesday, October 19th from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and will continue at the church on Thursday one hour prior to the funeral service. Burial will be in the Warwick Cemetery.
