Tatum Tyler Mitzel

Tatum Tyler Mitzel, precious son of Tyler Mitzel and Krissa Hillebrand died on Thursday, November 10, 2016 at CHI St. Alexius Health Devils Lake Hospital. The Funeral Mass for Tatum will be held on Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Devils Lake, ND with the Very Reverend C.F. Wilhelm celebrating the Mass. Visitation will be held at the Gilbertson Funeral Home, Devils Lake on Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. and will continue on Wednesday at the church one hour prior to the Mass. Tatum Tyler Mitzel was born on Monday, October 3, 2016 at 5:18 p.m., weighing 8 pounds 9 ounces, twenty-one inches long and as perfect as can be. Beautiful blue eyes, chubby little cheeks and fuzzy dark hair. Mom and Dad were so in love before we even got to meet him. The moment we saw him he was the handsomest little man, so perfect in every way. He was so loved by his older siblings. He knew whenever Mom or Dad would talk to him, he would get wide eyed and start moving his arms in excitement. He brought so much joy to our lives for the short amount of time he was here with us. Tatum is the loving son of Tyler and Krissa; little brother of Wyatt Hillebrand, Colton DeVoogdt and Ashlyn DeVoogdt; precious grandson of Bradley and Danae Hillebrand, Devils Lake and Greg and Kim Mitzel of Fargo, ND; sweet nephew of Kaitlyn Hillebrand, Devils Lake and Ciara Mitzel, Fargo; dear great grandson of LaVerne Mitzel, Bismarck, ND, Don and Dianne Mikkelson, Devils Lake and Mike and Barb Hillebrand, New Rockford, ND and grand nephew and cousin to many great aunts, great uncles and cousins. Tatum was welcomed home by his great grandparents Mannon and Karen Geisen and Frank Mitzel and other beloved family.
