Delray Don Demarce (Babes), of Saint Michael began his journey home to heaven. He was fatally injured in a motor vehicle accident.
Delray grew up and lived his life on the Spirit Lake Nation. He was most recently employed with the Spirit Lake Casino and Resort. Delray spent his life caring for his Grandma Flo and Grandpa Spune. He often said “I take care of them and they take care of me”. He was a kind, gentle and giving person. He enjoyed playing cards and any game of sports. His favorite sport team was the Minnesota Vikings. Any time he spent with family and friends was special to Delray.
Those Delray loved so much are his three sons, Daunte, Spokane, WA, Delray Jr, Saint Michael and Edin Wadsworth, Bismarck, ND. His mother Wanda and her husband Darren Trottier. Those welcoming Delray home to heaven are his grandparents Andrew Sr. and Lillian Demarce, Grandpa Elmer White Sr., Great Grandmother Mae Whiteman, uncles Arthur Zeke Brown, Aaron Dunn and Elmer White Jr. and his cousins Lolita White, Dion Iceman and Jordan Iceman.
The pallbearers for Delray will be his brothers and sisters, Darien Trottier, Dalanis Trottier, Mallory Demarce, Marlene Demarce, Marlena Demarce, Craig Sorrel, Austin Herman, son Daunte Demarce and stepfather Darren Trottier. Delray will be escorted by son Delray Demarce Jr. and brother Marlin Demrace Jr.
Special thanks to Delray’s friends and family for their support, kind words and prayers. There are so many loved ones to thank. Your kindness will never be forgotten.
Delray loved life and people loved him. He made people smile and touched many lives. Delray had high hopes of beating his addiction and living a happy, sober life. Delray fought a long hard battle but sadly he lost his battle a few days ago. In heaven there is no addiction only love, and the Vikings always win.
