Anna C. Ripplinger, 51, of Minnewaukan, North Dakota died Wednesday, June 8, 2005 at the Altru Hospital, Grand Forks, North Dakota after a short but courageous battle with cancer.
Funeral Services for Anna will be Monday, June 13, 2005 at 10:30 a.m. at Peace Lutheran Church, Devils Lake. Rev. Betty J. Stedman will officiate and burial will be in the Devils Lake Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Gilbertson Funeral Home, Devils Lake on Sunday from 1 until 8:00 p.m. and Monday at the church one hour prior to the funeral service.
Family has requested that people are to dress casual for services.
Serving as Pallbearers will be, Brad Eback, Myron Halvorson, David Ambers, Brad Thompson, Terry Eback and Ira Compton.
Music will be provided by Susan Eback, Soloist and JoDee Lagein, Pianist.
Anna Catherine Olson was born September 18, 1953 in Rugby, North Dakota the daughter of Morris and Shirley (Alexander) Olson. She attended school in Minnewaukan and graduated from Minnewaukan High School in the class of 1971. Anna was united in marriage to James P. Ripplinger December 14, 1973 in Minnewaukan. They established their home in Minnewaukan where they lived, worked and raised their family. Anna was a day care provider for several of the Minnewaukan families for many years.
She was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church of Minnewaukan.
Anna loved animals and her many pets but she especially loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Anna was preceded in death by her father, Morris Olson; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Frank and Anna Ripplinger.
