Timothy J. “TJ” Wimer, Jr. 21 of Lakota, ND died on Saturday, November 17, 2007 near Michigan, ND. Funeral Services for TJ will be held on Saturday, November 24, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at the Lakota Lutheran Church, Lakota. Rev. Bob Chapman will officiate and burial will be in the Lakota Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the Gilbertson Funeral Home, Devils Lake on Friday from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service and time of remembering at 7:00 p.m. Visitation on Saturday will be at the church one hour prior to the funeral service. Serving as Casket Bearers for TJ will be Doug Brotten, Ritchie Sandford, Ken Klindt, Jim Herda, Michael Auker and Nathan Bulik. Honorary Bearers will be all of TJ’s aunts and uncles. Music will be provided by Jason Flom, soloist and Trish Young, organist Timothy J. Wimer Jr. was born on September 24, 1986 at Fargo, ND the son of Timothy J. and Tammy (Berg) Sr. He was reared and educated in Lakota. While in high school TJ was a member of the Lakota Football Team (#21) and also played drums in the band. In his Junior year, TJ enlisted in the North Dakota National Guard, and was honorably discharged after 2 years of service. In 2005 he began employment with Nordic Fiberglass. For the past several months, TJ was employed at the Mapes Hog Farm. TJ was a baptized and confirmed member of the Lawton Lutheran Church TJ was an outdoorsman who enjoyed deer hunting and fishing. He was also a true “music lover”. His taste in music covered a wide spectrum of different types and sounds. Of course sharing good times and good music with his friends was very important to TJ. But the true treasures in TJ’s life were his family and spending time with them. TJ will be forever loved and forever in our hearts. TJ is survived by his parents, Timothy and Tammy Wimer of Onalaska, Wisconsin Sisters: Misty Berg of Devils Lake Victoria “Tori” Wimer of Onalaska Niece: Sierra Berg Grandparents: Roy and Vivian Wimer, Lawton, ND Evonne Berg of Devils Lake Aunts, Uncles and Cousins: Kathi Anderson, Gordon (Debby) Wimer, Roberta (Jim) Klindt, Michelle (Doug) Brotten, Jeff Wimer, Debbie Henderson, Allen (Joann) Berg, Diane Thomas, Luann (Jim) Carlson, Timothy (Teri) Berg, Kimberly Strawn, Candace (Ken) Miller, Jeffery (Pam) Berg, Lynda (Troy) Vanderplaats, Chris and Robert Wimer, Ken Klindt, Melissa (Dan) Fowler, Melody Staus and Jim Allard, Nichole Sandford, Amanda Brotten and Brandon Dahl, Amber Brotten, Hayley Brotten, Holly, Heather and Heidi Henderson, Robin, Charlie and Dustin Berg, Trish (Michael) Paul, Jessica (Adam) LaCock, Joshua and William Strawn, Jaren Miller, Madison and Erin Berg. Several Great Nieces and Great Nephews also survive. TJ was preceded in death by his grandfather, Irven Berg; cousins, Crystal Brotten and Travis Thomas and great uncle, Elmer Wimer.
