Jessie Lee Williams, 76 of Devils Lake, ND died on Thursday morning, June 16, 2005 at the Good Samaritan Center, Devils Lake. Funeral Services for Jessie will be held on Monday, June 20, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. at the Gilbertson Funeral Home Chapel, Devils Lake. Rev. Bruce Dick will officiate and burial will be in the Devils Lake Cemetery. Friends may call at the Gilbertson Funeral Home on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. and on Monday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service. Serving as an Honorary Casket Bearer will be Harold Johnson Active Casket Bearers will be, Michael Steffan, Ed Brownshield, Carrol Rognlie, Daniel Dosch, Joe Lawrence and Peter Dauphinais Jessie Lee Williams was born on July 5, 1928 in Memphis, Tennessee the son of Clara Ridley Williams. He was reared and educated in Memphis. He worked in the Memphis area at a variety of jobs for many years. In 1990, Jessie moved to Devils Lake and worked for a time at Lake Region Asphalt until illness and injuries forced him to retire. Jessie was united in marriage to Patricia Steffan on October 24, 1991 at Devils Lake. They established their home in Devils Lake and have lived here through the years. Jessie enjoyed watching TV, especially football. He always enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
