Betty May Minette, 75 of Fargo formerly of Devils Lake, ND died on Monday, March 31, 2008 at MeritCare Hospital in Fargo. Mass of Christian Burial for Betty will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Devils Lake. Fr. Dale Kinzler will celebrate the Mass and burial will be in the Devils Lake Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday one hour prior to the funeral Mass. Serving as Casket Bearers will be Betty’s sons, James Minette, Henry Minette and Richard Minette and Betty’s grandsons, Jaime Minette, Curtis Minette and Jake Minette. Music will be provided by JoDee Lagein Betty May Sime was born on May 27, 1932 at Devils Lake, ND the daughter of Norman and Margaret (Murray) Sime. Betty was a devoted, caring Mother who sacrificed so much for her family. An inspiration to so many people and the young children she cared for during her career as a Day Care Teacher, both in Devils Lake and Fargo. Next to her family, her second great love was cheering on her favorite sports team. She was a huge fan of all sports, which brought her much joy throughout each season. May our loving mother rest in peace with our Lord. Amen Betty is survived by her children, James Minette and his wife, Luanne of Phoenix, Arizona Richard Minette and his wife, Brenda of Minneapolis, MN Henry Minette of Denver, Colorado and daughter, Kathy Minette of Fargo; Fifteen Grandchildren; Nine Great Grandchildren; Brother: Kenneth Sime and his wife, Eleanor of Bowman, ND She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Harvey Sime.
