Andrew K. “Andy” Paulson, 42 of Langdon, ND formerly of Devils Lake, ND died on Sunday, May 15, 2005 at his home in Langdon. Funeral Services for Andy will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at the Gilbertson Funeral Home Chapel, Devils Lake. Rev. Joel Roberts will officiate and burial will be in the Michigan Cemetery. Friends may call at the Gilbertson Funeral Home on Friday from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until time of services. Serving as Honorary Pallbearers will be All of Andy’s Many Friends Active Pallbearers for Andy will be Dean Ekberg, Jim Johnson, Blake Koistinen and Ron Schwab. Andrew Kermit Paulson was born on June 28, 1962 at Auburn, Washington, the son of Keith and Marlene (Wirkus) Paulson. At a young age, he moved with his family to the Michigan area where he attended school. He then worked as a diesel mechanic for Leo Langton at the Case Dealership for several years. He also worked road construction and broke horses. Most recently, Andy worked for Schrader Construction in Langdon. Andy was at one time married to Cindy Ducioame. Andy loved working with horses and trail riding with his family and was a member of the Fort Totten Trail Riders. Andy especially loved spending time with his family and the highlight of any day was time he could spend with his son, Riley. Andy is survived by his Son: Riley Anton Paulson, Langdon Father: Keith Paulson, Brocket, ND Mother: Marlene Paulson, Devils Lake Grandmother: Frances Riley, Massachusetts Sisters: Denise (Richard) Davis, Devils Lake Pam Frazier, Michigan, ND Brothers: Patrick Paulson, Seattle, Washington Kevin (Laura) Paulson, Washington Thirteen Nieces and Nephews One Great Niece and Two Great Nephews He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Maxine Bellemy, Andrew Wirkus and Kermit Paulson and brother, Dennis David Paulson.
