Lucile M. Pankratz, 86, of Langdon, ND formerly of Calvin and Munich, ND died on Saturday evening, April 16, 2005 at Maple Manor Care Center, Langdon. Funeral Services for Lucile will be held on Wednesday, April 20, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at the Salem Mennonite Church, Munich. Rev. Ernie Lambright will officiate and burial will be in the East Salem Mennonite Cemetery, rural Munich. Friends may call at the Gilbertson Funeral Home, Devils Lake on Tuesday from 1:00 until 5:00 p.m. Visitation will be at Maple Manor Care Center, Langdon on Tuesday from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 pm. with a Prayer Service at 7:30 p.m. Visitation on Wednesday will be at the church one hour prior to the funeral service. Serving as Pallbearers will be: Wayne Pankratz, Kenneth Renfrow, Brad Goertzen, Stanley Dick, Richard Pankratz and Chad Pankratz. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Noel Trout, Larry Hudecek, Dan Unruh and Gary Pankratz Music will be provided by Carol Hoffman, Ellen Dick, Cynthia Spenst, Joan Heppner and Gladys Hoffman. Lucile Marie Renfrow was born on March 1, 1919 at Bismarck, ND the daughter of Harry G. and Leona A. (Kounts) Renfrow. As a young girl, Lucile moved with her parents to Calvin, ND where she was reared and educated. She graduated from Calvin High School in the class of 1937. Lucile was united in marriage to Wilbur B. Pankratz on October 26, 1937 in Calvin. They established their home on his farm rural Calvin/Munich area where they lived, worked and raised their family through the years. In 1979 they moved into Munich. Mr. Pankratz died on February 24, 1996. Lucile continued to make her home in Munich. In November of 2004, Lucile moved to the Maple Manor Care Center. Lucile was a member of Salem Mennonite Church and Church Mission Circle Lucile is survived by her children: Delores I. “Dee” Goertzen and her husband, John, Milford, NE Dennis Pankratz, Omaha, NE Grandchildren: Bradley Goertzen and his wife, Bonnie Brenda Hudecek and her husband, Larry Gayle Trout and her husband, Noel Richard Pankratz and fiancé, Stephanie and her daughter, Morgan Denise Pankratz Great Grandchildren: Christian, Adam and Karsen Trout Andrea, Evan and Nicholas Goertzen Brothers: Joe (Clara) Renfrow, Cando, ND Morris Renfrow, Oakland, California Sisters-In-Law: Florence Renfrow, Langdon, N.D. Dorothy Renfrow, Arizona Several Nieces and Nephews She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Wilbur; brothers, Howard, Kenneth and Donald Renfrow and two brothers in infancy and one sister in infancy.
