Theodore J. “Ted” Schepp, 58 of Devils Lake, ND died on Sunday, May 8, 2005 at the Good Samaritan Center, Devils Lake with Jennifer at his side. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, May 12, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Devils Lake. Fr. Joseph Christensen will celebrate the Mass and burial will be held in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Friends may call at the Gilbertson Funeral Home, Devils Lake on Thursday from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and visitation on Friday will be at the church one hour prior to the funeral Mass. Serving as Pallbearers will be: Dana Burt, Michael Grafsgaard, David Fitzpatrick and David Bertsch. Serving as Honorary Pallbearers will be All of Ted’s Many Friends Theodore Joseph Schepp was born on August 3, 1946 at Devils Lake, ND the son of Frank T. and Anna Rose (Gefroh) Schepp. He attended school in Devils Lake, graduating from St. Mary’s High School in 1964. He then attended UND-Lake Region College and graduated with an Associate of Arts Degree in Civil Technology. He worked as a draftsman for Great Plains Supply in Leeds and later worked at the Bootery Shoe Store, Nelsons M & I Electric, Artclare Motel and McDonalds. He was at one time married to Sheryl Atherton. Ted’s passion was for maintenance work. Ted could fix anything and enjoyed working with all the different tools he had collected through the years and just enjoyed “tinkering” with anything that might need an adjustment or remodeling to make it work just a little better. Ted also loved trains, which he inherited from his Dad who worked for Burlington Northern. Ted referred to himself as a “train brat”. But Ted always felt the best way to spend any day was playing and spending time with his grandchildren. Ted was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church He is survived by his Daughters: Jennifer Eback and her husband, Jamey Jolene Wee and her husband, Richard Jessica Restemyer and her husband, Sterling all of Devils Lake Grandchildren: Dylan Wee, Macey Eback and Gavin Eback Sister: Frances Schepp, Devils Lake Nieces: Rhonda (Paul) Skurdall Rachel (Rob) Hach both of Devils Lake Rosemary (Mark) Salisbury, Boston, Massachusetts Nephews: Dana Burt, Grand Forks, ND David Burt, Grand Rapids, Michigan Other Special Family Friends: Deb and Al Zahursky and family of Max, ND David and Shannon Fitzpatrick and family, Grand Forks Lisa and Mike Grafsgaard and family of Devils Lake He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents and one niece.
