Mary Pat Wilcox, 67 of rural Devils Lake, ND died on Saturday morning, August 27, 2005 at her home. Mass of Christian Burial for Mary will be held on Saturday, September 3, 2005 at 9:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Devils Lake. Fr. C.F. Wilhelm will celebrate the Mass and burial will be in St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery. The Catholic Daughters will lead the Rosary at 8:40 a.m. on Saturday prior to the funeral Mass. Friends may call at the Gilbertson Funeral Home on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Honorary Pallbearers will be all of Mary Pat’s Nieces and Nephews Music will be provided by John Rodenbiker, Soloist Reading the Scriptures will be Paul Rodenbiker Gift Bearers will be Sara, Megan and Mary Rodenbiker. Mary Pat Wilcox was born on June 16, 1938 at Devils Lake, ND the daughter of Edward C. and Eleanor (Graham) Wilcox. She was raised and educated in Devils Lake, graduating from Devils Lake Central High School in 1956. She then attended Lake Region Junior College. She worked for a time with Northwestern Bell in Devils Lake and Minneapolis. She was then employed with Honeywell in Minneapolis for 30 years, retiring in 1990. She returned to the Devils Lake area, working part-time at the Odd Fellows Home and Lake Country Manor. Mary Pat was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Catholic Daughters of America and the Lake Region Pioneer Daughters. She dearly treasured her nieces and nephews. She was an animal lover, especially dogs, cats and horses. She will be greatly missed. Eleanor is survived by her loving Sisters and Brothers-In-Law: JoAnn and Ron Rodenbiker of Rock Lake, ND Barbara and Eugene Locken of Aneta, ND Nieces and Nephews: John and Erika Rodenbiker, Minot, ND Luke Rodenbiker, Rock Lake Mark Rodenbiker, Cedar Rapids, Iowa Paul Rodenbiker and Mary Rodenbiker, Fargo, ND Sara Locken, Mayville, ND David and Megan Locken, Aneta Aunt: Adelle Davy, Amarillo, Texas Many Cousins also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents. Gilbertson Funeral Home, Devils Lake in charge of arrangements.
