Priscilla M. Touche, Wowa Di Take Wuha Mâni Wi (She Walks With Bravery Woman) age 60 of WoodLake/Tokio, ND died early Tuesday morning, February 17, 2009 at Trinity Medical Center, Minot, ND. A Wake Service for Priscilla will be held at Dakotah Oyate Lutheran Church, rural Tokio on Monday, February 23, 2009 beginning at 5:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be at the church on Tuesday, February 24, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. with burial in the Dakotah Oyate Cemetery. The Procession to the Dakotah Oyate Lutheran Church will leave at 4:00 p.m. on Monday from the Wal-Mart Lot. Pastor Larry Thiele will officiate with Pastor June and Pastor Larry Lockwood, Pastor Dave Jore, Pastor Al (Marilyn) Peterson, Willie (Anna) Atkinson and Tony McDonald assisting. Music will be provided by June and Larry Lockwood, Tony and Vina McDonald and the Stensland family. Serving as Casket Bearers for Priscilla will be Duane Smith, Dana Lohnes, Stanley Touche, Craig Brown, Stephen Brown, Gerid Smith, Bobbi Brown and Kenny Longie. Honorary Bearers will be Douglas Michaels, Larry and Darla Thiele, Gerry Guy, Ardell Guy, Mary Blackbull, Kenny and Karen Longie, Sheila and June Blueshield, Beryl Dubois, Clayton and Ardell Blueshield, Calvin and Violet Thompson, Tony and Vina McDonald, John and Marva Tollefson, Helena Littleghost and Elizabeth Littleghost, Elaine Robertson, Reese Littlewind, Tina Blueshield-Mathison, Vernetta Brown, Peter Ross, Earl and Amelia Chalis, Elaine Sherman, Wanda Longie, Anna Scott, June and Larry Lockwood, Charles and Rochelle Small, Charlene Green, Bob Charboneau, Meada Jetty, Louella Redfox, Annie Redfox, Sharon Georgeson, Ray and Rosa FlyingKnife, Jacqueline Brown-Peltier, the Staff of ICU and 5th Floor of the Trinity Medical Center, Priscilla’s family from Sioux Valley, Manitoba and all of her many dear friends and family. Priscilla Mae was born on June 29, 1948 at Mercy Hospital, Devils Lake, the daughter of George and Christine (Stone) Ross. She grew up in the WoodLake/Tokio area, attending elementary school and graduating from the 8th grade at the Wahpeton Boarding School and receiving her high school education at Flandreau, South Dakota. Priscilla was united in marriage to Omar Touche on October 13, 1977 in Minnewaukan, ND. They established their home in the WoodLake area and here they lived, worked and raised their family through the years. Priscilla was a very active member of the Dakotah Oyate Church, sharing her love of singing at many of the services and also taking part in many Bible Studies. She loved going to Revivals and shared and showed her love of Jesus by word and example. She had a talent for sewing and made many beautiful Star Quilts that she shared with her dear family and many friends. Priscilla had a soft spot for animals, especially kittens. Priscilla left a legacy of love for God, family and friends and as family we will cherish that love forever in our hearts. Priscilla is survived by her husband of 31 years, Omar; Two Daughters: Dina Littleghost and Beverly Littleghost; Four Sons: James Littleghost, Robert Touche, Bradley Touche and Anthony Kelly Touche all of WoodLake. Sister: Margie Ross of Fort Totten; Special Sister: Pastor June Lockwood of Poplar, Montana; Grandchildren that Priscilla and Omar raised, Welden Littleghost, Durius Littleghost, Latrell Redroad and special granddaughter, Toddrah Cameron. Other Thirteen Grandchildren: Kyle Redroad, Lucas Little, Marcus, Tyler, Miranda, Jamesina, James Jr., Jamison and Jasmine Littleghost, Tally Vincent Douglas Anthony Touche, Cleveland Touche, Chayanne Touche and Anthony Touche Jr.; She was preceded in death by her parents; two grandsons; sisters, Eunice Green, Evelyn Ross and Katie TwoHearts; brother, John Ross.
