After the war, Orrin returned to the states with his division. Six months later, Margaret and their baby, Orrin R., would come to the United States on the Queen Mary. She was also a member of the Wheatland Homemakers and the VFW Auxiliary. In her younger years, Midge enjoyed belonging to the local bowling league and gardening. She had a very special talent for knitting and shared her creations as special gifts to her family and many friends.
