INGA BERTHA NORMANDIN-WHITE

Inga Bertha (Fossen) Normandin-White, formerly of Maddock, ND, died on Friday, January 30, 2009 at the Good Samaritan Center, Devils Lake, at the age of 93. Services for Inga will be held at the Gilbertson Funeral Home Chapel, Devils Lake on Wednesday, February 4, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Dale Peterson officiating. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery, rural Maddock in spring. Visitation will be held at the Gilbertson Funeral Home on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service. Music will be provided by Russell and Lynda Pearson Inga was born on February 7, 1915 in rural Heimdal, ND, the daughter of Engebret and Julia (Reierson) Fossen. She married Arthur Normandin and moved to California where they lived until his death in 1982. Inga later married Lawrence White and moved to Maddock, ND, until entering the Good Samaritan Center. Inga is survived by her daughter, Cindy (Richard) Anderson and two grandchildren, Kyle and Kayla. She also leaves behind four brothers, Odin (Marlys) Fossen, Maddock, Tilford (Lorraine) Fossen, Maddock, Elvin Fossen, East Grand Forks, MN and Lloyd Fossen, Harvey, ND Sister-in-law Clarice Fossen, Vancouver, Washington as well as many nieces and nephews and their families She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, sister, Mabel Johnson, and brothers, Bennie, Julius, Johnny, Melvin, Kermit, Bennie, and Clarence.
