Katie H. Two Hearts, Kimama To Win (Blue Butterfly Woman), 62 of Fort Totten,
ND passed into the Spirit World on Wednesday, February 2, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at the
Altru Hospital, Grand Forks, ND.
Funeral Services for Katie will be held on Monday, February 7, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. at the
Dakotah Oyate Lutheran Church, rural Tokio, ND. Pastor Larry Thiele, Pastor June Lockwood and Pastor Larry Lockwood will officiate and Katie will be laid to rest at the Bdecan Presbyterian Cemetery, rural Woodlake, ND.
A Wake Service will be held on Sunday, February 6, 2005 beginning at 5:00 p.m. at the Dakotah Oyate Lutheran Church. A Prayer Service will be held at 8:00 p.m.
Active Pallbearers will be: Todd White, Daniel Dubois III, Paul Cavanaugh, Freeman Brown, George Green and James Littleghost.
Honorary Pallbearers will be: Viola Brown, Annie Two Hearts, Darlene Wadsworth, Pauline Merrick, Joanne Redfox, Ardell Guy, Darlene Feather, Alice Jetty and all of Katie’s relatives from Canada.
Special Music will be provided by Pastor June and Pastor Larry Lockwood and the Pratt Family.
Katie Hazel Ross Two Hearts was born on January 16, 1943 the daughter of George and Christine (Stone) Ross. She was born and raised and lived most of her life in the Tokio and Fort Totten area. She also lived for a short time in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Katie attended the elementary grades at the old Tokio School, where she was an excellent basketball player. Katie also attended Maddock High School.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Delvin Ross; sister, Ruth Evelyn Ross; nieces, Dorothy Spotted Bird and Margaret Small; brother, John Ross and also a few grandchildren and great grandchildren.
